Transparent stuff is important in the world of material modeling. I want to make potions; potions need stylish glass bottles. Seems easy enough! There's something in the node network that calls itself a transparent shader. I tried plugging it in, and nothing happened.
After a solid few minutes of google, I learned about different rendering pipelines and other things. Toon shading really only works the way I want it to with EEVEE, so I needed to enable a few check-boxes in the rendering settings. Got a few glitchy fun-looking things
Fixing some broken stuff with getting transparent objects to appear behind glass materials, I got to make a few potions.
Potions! The first big milestone. Who'd a thunk.
